The Rich Hands Rock La Botanica

A jacket drive was held this past friday at La Botanica. The proceeds went towards buying jackets, gloves, and beanies for Casa Hogar de Nazareth, a children’s orphanage in Piedras Negras Mexico. Two bands performed at the event. Junkie has a care free rock feel with a touch of a punk sound. The Rich Hands have a very old school Rolling Stonesesque feel and I was really impressed how they gave that classic sound a modern twist. Both bands were pretty legit and at the end of the night a pink bike was raffled off.

La Botanica is not only a vegan restaurant but a regular hot spot for local art and music. Keep an eye on this place to see upcoming events.
