Artists Display At Dorcol Distilling Co.

SAN ANTONIO, TX – I visited the Dorcol Distilling Co. yesterday to check out an art show organized by artist and designer, Joseph Silvas. I stopped by all the artist stations to meet each artist and learn their stories.

Two recent University of Incarnate Word graduates Michelle Claire and Danielle Villareal have been displaying their chalkboard art for companies such as Central Market. Both studied design at UIW and have been perfecting their craft, see the pics below of an example of the work they had on display. I love the hand drawn typography in their chalkboard art.

And finally, the artist that brought me to the event, Blue Hernandez. The reason I came out to the event in the first place was to pick up a print that I had bought from him. It is  a really cool mixed media piece. Check it out below.  Blue Hernandez is a good friend of Creative Socialite. He was our first video interview. Find more about blue731 here.

This whole event definitely had a cool vibe and they have it every second Saturday of the month. Make sure you come and check it out next time around.
